 Madla Elementary Counselor

Hello Gator families! I’m Krystal Kuykendall and I'm your school counselor and I have 19 years of experience in education. I’m passionate about helping students feel heard, supported, and confident. Originally from Central Texas, I’ve proudly called San Antonio home for the past eight years. I bring a friendly, easygoing approach to my work and believe a good laugh can make even tough days a little brighter. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, watching football, and my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family! I’m always happy to lend a listening ear, share encouragement, and help keep our school community positive. I'm so happy to be a Gator!
