Hello, my name is Valerie Dykes, I am the Guidance Counselor at Frank Madla Elementary School. I am a district lead counselor so I assist all schools in the South San District.  I've earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Counseling from our Lady of the Lake University.

This will be my 18th year employed in the district so I am family.

I am here to assist students with academic success by focusing on their social-emotional needs.
